60‐year‐old Anton lives a secluded and disillusioned life. When he gets to know about his terminal illness, he decides to make a marriage announcement in Poland. There he meets life-hungry Paulina(28). Driven by emotional and economic hardships the two make ​​a deal with each other. Paulina marries Anton and promises to spend his last days with him as his wife. In return Anton leaves her his heir. Although reserved in the beginning soon the two of them come cautiously close to each other facing their different prejudices. But Paulina carries a dark secret with her. When a visit from Poland knocks on the door after their marriage, Anton and Paulina have to decide.

Without a penny in her pocket and on the run from her past, Agnieszka (30 )leaves her native country Poland head over heels. In Munich, she gets to know the former Ballet Diva Madame who gives the refugee shelter and a job: Agnieszka starts to work as an escort dominatrix.

One day she gets to know 16 year-old Manuel who falls in love with her and does not leave her alone. The events start to tumble.

Torn between her loyalty to Madame and her feelings for Manuel, Agnieszka finds the courage to rediscover her tenderness.

The paths of three students of different nationalities cross in the elevator of an anonymous student block in Munich. Since they don’t know each other, they will never find out how much they have in common: Clara, Motek and Sin are strangers in Germany. They’re longing for acceptance and warmth, searching for a spark of the feeling we call “home”.
